COVID-19: Important information for your stay at our hotel

Ladies and gentlemen,

dear guests,

We take your safety and well-being, as well as the one of our employees, as our utmost priority; therefore we have implemented and adhere to the highest standards of safety, hygiene and disinfection to address COVID-19 in collaboration with international medical experts and following the recommendations of the Robert-Koch Institute and the current Corona ordinance of the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Please note that the federal regulations are subject to constant change, therefore all information on this website is without guarantee. We try to keep the information as up-to-date as possible.

An overview of our measures to ensure the safety of our guests and employees in the different hotel areas:


Who is authorised to stay at the hotel?

Only fully vaccinated or recovered people are authorised to stay at the hotel. In addition, a negative antigen test no older than 24 hours must be presented upon arrival. During extended stays, guests are required to re-test every 72 hours.

Where are the closest test stations?

  • Test centre Rathausplatz no. 17-21, Ludwigshafen: approx. 15 minutes (1.2 km) on foot or 3 stops by tram
  • Rapid test centre Rhein-Galerie, Im Zollhof 4, Ludwigshafen: approx. 15 minutes (1.3 km) on foot or 2 stops by bus
  • Test centre Freizeitstätte Ludwig-Wolker, Karl-Krämer-Straße 6, Ludwigshafen: approx. 20 minutes (1.7 km) on foot or 2 stops by S-Bahn (suburban railway)

What is the maximum number of people allowed in one hotel room?

According to the current regulations, the maximum number of people allowed to share a hotel room is 3.

Is the wearing of a mask mandatory in the hotel?

Yes, it is mandatory to wear a surgical mask or an FFP2 mask at all  times in public hotel areas.

Is there the possibility of digital contact tracing?

Yes, digital contact tracing in our hotel is carried out via the Corona-Warn-App and the luca app.

Further measures taken by the hotel:

  • Disinfectant dispensers are available in all public hotel areas.
  • Lobby, reception desk and public toilets are cleaned and disinfected with increased frequency.
  • The walking direction to maintain the safety distance is indicated by markings on the floor in the lobby and reception area.
  • Access to the lifts is limited to a certain amount of people. For more information, please refer to the on-site signage.
  • In order to minimise the risk of infection, our guest rooms undergo in-depth cleaning.
  • Face masks are available at the front desk.
  • To protect both our guests and employees, the front desk is fitted with plexiglass panes.


Access to gastronomy is only granted with valid proof of vaccination or recovery together with a negative test certificate no older than 24 hours or with valid proof of a booster vaccination.


We offer the following breakfast options, depending on the room occupancy:

1. Breakfast box for takeaway:

  • 2 sandwiches
  • 1 granola bar
  • 1 piece of fruit
  • 1 juice
  • 1 coffee to go

2. Extended continental breakfast buffet:

  • selection of bread rolls
  • croissants
  • bread
  • selection of jams
  • daily changing warm dishes
  • sliced cheese
  • cold cuts
  • fruit and fresh seasonal fruit
  • selection of mueslis
  • specialty coffee and tea

We serve warm dishes directly to your table. The regular breakfast fee applies. Please book a table for breakfast at our front desk.

Due to the current situation, our restaurant currently remains closed outside breakfast hours. Also the bar remains closed until further notice. We are happy to recommend you nearby alternatives.
